Indian School Animal Hospital

Dr. DDr. Loretta Delac

Dr. Loretta Delac grew up in Cleveland Ohio; even as a child she knew she loved animals and wanted to spend her life working with them. After graduating from Ohio State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Delac moved to Arizona in 1996 and completed her internship at Mesa Veterinary Hospital. In 2000, Dr. Delac joined Indian School Animal Hospital, then owned by Dr. Jerry Harris. She later purchased Indian School Animal Hospital from Dr. Harris and became the clinic’s primary veterinarian.

When Dr. D isn’t devoting her time to helping the patients at Indian School Animal Hospital, she enjoys spending time at home with her pets; Lika and Drax the Great Danes, Diego, Diablo, Dekla, and Nugget the Chihuahuas, Poof the Pomeranian, her cats Kiki and Gogo, as well as her Sulcata Tortoise, Tippy. She also enjoys watching movies, relaxing by the pool, and spending time with her friends.

Hillary moved to Arizona when she was just a kid, in 1996, with her family. Hillary started horse back riding at the age 4, her passion and love for animals developed from there; she always knew she wanted to be in the veterinary field. Hillary spent 2 years at Scottsdale Community College before she started her career here at Indian School Animal Hospital, in 2013. Hillary enjoys cross fitting with her husband, showing her horse, Moonshine, and spending time with her 3 dogs, 2 cats, and desert tortoise.

Amy was born in Indiana and grew up between there and Wisconsin until she graduated high school from Verona, WI in 1993. She moved to Arizona in 1995 and has worked in the production and manufacturing field for the past 25 years while raising a son and daughter. She has volunteered with Kitts Kitten Rescue for the past 5 years, fostering countless cats and kittens, participating in adopting events, and TNR projects to help control and reduce feral community cats. She has 5 of her own cats ranging from 10 years to 1 year old, as well as a dog, a 9 year old boxer mix.

In 2018 she decided it was time to do something she enjoys and began taking classes at Mesa Community College to become a Vet Tech. Amy says "I was fortunate to get my first entry level position at Indian School Animal Hospital where I am learning new skills and enjoying the hands on experience working with dogs and cats."
